Position: Managing Director, Invalidity & Litigation Support
Location: Chicago, IL
The Vortech’s Group is searching for a qualified candidate to lead and expand the Invalidity & Litigation Support Services Practice at a global intellectual property firm. This Practice services Fortune 100 clients in cases involving patent infringement by providing a premium prior art/invalidity capability.
The ideal candidate would be ready to immediately undertake a position of responsibility with this supportive and highly capable atmosphere. The candidate should exhibit the following experience and traits:

5 years+ experience in patent litigation

Specific experience in infringement analysis, invalidity analysis, claim constructions (including Markman briefings), and reviewing expert reports

Superb writing and oral communication skills

Strong academic credentials in a technical field (e.g. electrical engineering) is a plus
