Georgia Tech’s Office of Sponsored Programs has exclusively retained the Vortechs Group in the search for its next Associate Director.
This management position requires someone with extensive business and leadership skills as well as the ability to plan, develop and implement the organization’s operational policies, strategic objectives and initiatives.
The Associate Director OSP – Grants Research Associate II, will provide leadership, strategic planning and organizational direction to the Office of Sponsored Program’s federally sponsored grants unit including oversight of pre- and non-financial post-award activities and negotiations for the teams assigned within the grants unit. This position oversees assigned contracting personnel within the grants unit.
The Associate Director must have a thorough understanding of and skill in:
- Federally sponsored grant process and sub-award activities
- Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPAs) and specialized agreements
- Compliance requirements for certifications made with proposals submitted to the federal government
- Management of staff and stakeholders
- Customer service, communications, and negotiation
