We’re Looking for a Top-Notch Contracts Specialist

The Contracts Specialist provides assistance to faculty, staff and Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) personnel in reviewing, drafting and managing various contracts and agreements pertaining to intellectual property and academic research.

The incumbent will possess excellent research skills and attention to detail as s/he will be expected to draft, negotiate and finalize (with minimal oversight) confidential disclosure agreements, research collaboration agreements and material and software evaluation/use agreements with corporate and nonprofit entities. This position interacts extensively and independently with faculty and staff, as well as representatives of academic and commercial organizations, to ensure material transfer agreement (MTA) compliance.
