The Vortechs Group has been retained to locate a Senior Commercialization Officer for the Clemson University Research Foundation to become an integral part of the technology transfer operation overseeing the University’s world-class research. You would be leading the charge to develop faculty relationships and identify/evaluate/transfer the most promising research in the area of biomedical engineering. Clemson’s teaching, research and outreach are driving development and improving the quality of life in South Carolina and far beyond.

This Senior Commercialization Officer will work proactively with Clemson researchers to ensure appropriate protection of intellectual property, innovations, and discoveries, and support the commercialization and entrepreneurial efforts of the university.
In order to excel in this position, candidates must be creative, entrepreneurial thinkers, have a background in biomedical engineering or life sciences and enjoy working with talented researchers.
