Position Overview:
The Director of Business Development and Technology Commercialization will manage policies and guidelines for this office and develop new ones. This role will be critical to one of the main goals of the hospital’s mission, research, and ensuring that work being done at Children’s National is successfully transferred to the market/bedside to improve children’s health, everywhere.
The Director will identify, groom, and lead high-profile initiatives and manage the intellectual property portfolio and licensing technologies for the entire Children’s National Health System – the hospital and its research arm. This new role requires a dynamic leader who is ready to outline, create, and manage an emerging high-profile area for the Health System.
